Triple F’s Townsville Livery
25 June 2010
You may think you're seeing double of Dean Fiore at the upcoming Townsville event depending on what side of the track you are on, with the Triple F Racing FG Falcon carrying a different local sponsor on each side of the car. Mackay-based R&T Pumps will appear on the right-hand side of the car, and Townsville-based McSheds taking up the left-hand side. Haymans electrical wholesalers and Ritzco Homes have also come on board for the one off event.
Fiore's season long backers BMC Welding & Construction and Sitech Solutions also remain part of the livery for the Townsville event. With all the supporters of the round getting maximum exposure as the same livery will also be displayed on the Triple F Racing Fujitsu V8 Series car, which will be driven by younger brother Todd.
"We found last year when we went there that the round went off really, really well - everybody in the town got behind it. Our local sponsors last year had a great time, and it is good for me to have that support when I go to places like Townsville and Darwin," Dean commented.
Fiore finished 17th and 16th at last year's Townsville round, which was one of his better results for the year despite having issues throughout the weekend.
"I love going to Townsville and I absolutely love the track. We had some issues with the car last year but still did well so we should go even better this year," Dean said.
The Sucrogen Townsville 400 will be held in a fortnight's time from July 9-11.
