Triple F Racing is gearing up for a busy weekend ahead in far north Queensland, with the Sucrogen Townsville 400 kicking off on Friday. Spectators will be seeing double as brother's Dean and Todd will be displaying the same liveries on their cars in both the Championship and Fujitsu Series.  There will be a lot of local flavour at the event due to the support and backing from several businesses in the area, with McSheds, R & T Pumps, Haymans Electrical and Ritzco Homes, all jumping on board for the one off round.

Dean Fiore is keen to get his FG Falcon onto the track this weekend, as it proved very competitive at the event last year when Fabian Coulthard was at the helm.

"We have every chance as the car was super competitive last year, so it really likes the track. This means I can concentrate on my job at hand as the boys proved it was good enough last year.

"It's great to have so much local support behind us too for this round, the people of Townsville really get behind the event so it is great exposure for the local companies," Dean commented.

The youngest of the Fiore boys will be competing in just his second outing in a V8 Supercar in the Fujitsu series this weekend, where Todd share's the series drive with brother Paul. Todd is looking forward to the weekend ahead after a successful test day at Queensland Raceway last week.

"I have never been to Townsville, but I have heard nothing but good reports about the track. I have been studying in car footage from last year's event, but am really looking forward to turning a wheel there.

"A top 10 finish is the aim, however it is a big ask due to the high quality of the field," Todd said.

The first of two practice sessions for the Fujitsu V8 Supercar Series kick off at 9am on Friday, followed by the first of four practice sessions for the Championship series start at 10.20am local time.
